Other planned events: 1080 wild dog control program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is undertaking a 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) wild dog poison baiting program from Tuesday 1 May 2018 until Friday 30 May 2018 in the following parks:
  • Abercrombie River National Park
  • Blue Mountains National Park
  • Kanangra-Boyd National Park
  • Mares Forest National Park
  • Wiarborough Nature Reserve
  • Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve
Warning signs will be displayed to notify the public about this program. 1080 poison may be harmful to domestic animals.
Neighbours and visitors are reminded that domestic animals are not permitted in national parks, nature reserves or karst conservation areas at any time. Visitors should not handle or disturb any baits.
